Neil Ramirez optioned to minors despite strong spring

The Cubs announced Sunday they optioned pitcher Neil Ramirez to Triple-A Iowa. Ramirez had a 0.00 ERA and 0.40 WHIP in five relief appearances (five innings) this spring.
