Padres RP Shawn Kelley has nerve issue in forearm

The Padres received some encouraging news Wednesday when reliever Shawn Kelley was diagnosed only with a nerve issue down the side of his forearm.

"It's not the elbow, which is good," assistant general manager Josh Stein told U-T San Diego.

Kelley left the game Tuesday night with the injury. It remains to be seen when he can return to the mound.
