The Rays cut eight players on Sunday.
Shortstop Hak-Ju Lee was optioned to Triple-A Durham, along with RHP Jose Dominguez.
Lee hit .222 in spring games. Dominguez struck out three of the six batters he faced in two perfect innings.
The Rays also optioned three players to Double-A: C Justin O'Conner (.250 spring average), LHP Grayson Garvin (three strikeouts in four scoreless innings) and INF Ryan Brett (0-for-5) to Double-A Montgomery and reassigned RHP Dylan Floro (6.75 ERA), C Luke Maile (.250 average) and LHPRobert Zarate (6.00 ERA) to minor league camp.
