Reds pitching coach Bryan Price told the Cincinnati Enquirer that the club will monitor Tony Cingrani's innings as the season winds down. Price does not have a firm limit with Cingrani yet.
"We're certainly aware," Price said. "We haven't set anything in stone. From our philosophy, it would suggest we'll monitor his usage."
Cingrani has averaged 5.7 innings per start. He is at 125 1/3 after his start Wednesday. The 24-year-old rookie is 6-2 with a 2.78 ERA in 20 appearances (15 starts).
