Scioscia: Angels C Chris Iannetta pressing at the plate

Angels catcher Chris Iannetta, who is in a season-long slump, is putting too much pressure on himself to emerge from said slump.
That is the belief of Mike Scioscia, who has seen Iannetta's batting average fall to a microscopic .093 after a hitless Wednesday in which he struck out twice.
"If you want to define pressing, you're going to just point to Chris right now," Scioscia told the Orange County Register. "This guy wants to help so bad. He takes on the burden of the whole game plan and what he does behind the plate. He's done a good job with that. And at the plate, he's just really struggling to get anything to fall in. He expanded the zone a little bit (Wednesday), which a little bit unlike him. He'll get it going."
Aside from a 3-for-8 stretch over two games in mid-April that appeared to get him rolling, Iannetta has just two hits in 46 at-bats on the year.
