This White Sox triple play includes a liner, a game of tag and a pickle
On Friday, the White Sox turned what looked like an ordinary line drive to an outfielder into the team's first triple play in nearly a decade.

Everything got started when Adam Eaton ran down a Mitch Moreland liner to right with the bases loaded. Eaton then got the ball back to first base, where Jose Abreu tagged an overzealous Ian Desmond for out number two. From there, things were academic. The White Sox engaged the Rangers in a rundown -- one that changed runners in the middle of the play -- which ended when the tag was applied to Prince Fielder.

While that's the first official triple play turned by the White Sox since Sept. 18, 2006, it's worth noting they turned three during the exhibition season. At this rate, expect them to pull off another triple play come, oh, say early June?
