Orioles pitcher Wei-Yin Chen surrendered two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out one and allowing one home run in two innings in his spring debut against the Yankees Tuesday.

Chen took a small step backwards in his second season last year, going 7-7 with a 4.07 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 104:39 K:BB ratio in 137 innings. He's working his way back from offseason surgery after having bone spurs removed from his knee.
