Vallimont was promoted from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.
Vallimont struggled with Double-A Wichita while a member of the Twins' organization to begin the year. He was designated for assignment in May and claimed off waivers by the Orioles. Vallimont was one of six pitchers optioned to minor-league camp as the Twins made their first round of cuts. He'll report back to Wichita for a second go-around after he struggled during his first taste of the Double-A level in 2021, finishing with a 6.03 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in 91 innings over his 21 innings.
