Kings' Russell Westbrook: Hits for 21 points in loss
Westbrook racked up 21 points (5-16 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 10-12 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three blocks and four steals in 38 minutes during Sunday's 115-98 loss to Milwaukee.
Westbrook will continue to staff the point guard position, as Zach LaVine's return will shift the lineup back to its original structure and send Precious Achiuwa to the bench eventually. Westbrook's numbers have dipped over the past couple of weeks, but he registered his first 20-point total since Dec. 27 in Sunday's defeat.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Tepid with 13 points in loss
Westbrook closed with 13 points (6-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Sunday's 125-101 loss to the Lakers.
The Kings have become dependent on Westbrook's offensive spark, but he was unable to deliver his usual pop during Sunday's loss. He also saw a minute decrease once the game was out of hand, which contributed to the regression. He'll try to bounce back against the Clippers on Tuesday.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Passes Magic in all-time assists
Westbrook generated 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt), nine assists, five rebounds and one steal across 28 minutes of Saturday's 113-107 win over the Mavericks.
Westbrook's nine assists were enough to push him into seventh place on the all-time assists list, passing Magic Johnson. The veteran guard tied for the team high in points, eclipsing the 20-point mark for the fourth time in five games. Since moving into the starting lineup Nov. 12, Westbrook is averaging 14.5 points, 7.9 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals across 29.9 minutes per game.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Logs season-high 27 points in loss
Westbrook accumulated 27 points (9-21 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 136-127 loss to Detroit.
Westbrook fired up 21 shot attempts and managed his best scoring total of the season during the defeat. Westbrook's career renaissance has been a major boost for the Kings, but the former MVP's contributions have yet to translate into many wins. If Domantas Sabonis (knee) and Zach LaVine (ankle) can return to action over the next month, they can join Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan and try to salvage the season, but they face an uphill battle with a conference-worst 7-23 record.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Big double-double in win
Westbrook had 21 points (8-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Sunday's 125-124 overtime win over the Rockets.
Westbrook was one of four Kings to eclipse 20 points -- he combined with DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray and Dennis Schroder for a total of 98 points in the comeback win. Westbrook continues to defy Father Time with averages of 16.2 points, 8.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals over his last six outings.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Goes for 20 and 10 in OT loss
Westbrook closed Thursday's 134-133 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers with 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and 10 assists over 35 minutes.
Westbrook's fingerprints were all over this game to close regulation, as Sacramento came roaring back to force overtime against the Trail Blazers. Coach Doug Christie continues to let Westbrook fill the starting point guard role, as Dennis Schroder played 22 minutes while Westbrook saw 35 minutes of action. Westbrook has upped his averages nearly across the board as a member of the Kings, compared to his time last season with the Nuggets.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Dishes out 10 assists Sunday
Westbrook closed Sunday's 117-103 loss to Minnesota with eight points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in 28 minutes.
The veteran point guard remained in the first unit despite the return of Dennis Schroder (hip), handing out at least 10 dimes for the ninth time in 2025-26. After spending most of the offseason in free agency, Westbrook has been a strong fantasy producer in points leagues with the Kings. Over his last 10 appearances, he's averaged 13.9 points, 9.0 assists, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals per game.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Triple-doubles in defeat
Westbrook tallied 24 points (10-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 14 assists, 13 rebounds, two steals and one block across 40 minutes in Monday's 116-105 loss to the Pacers.
Westbrook turned in an efficient performance while stuffing the stat sheet, albeit in a losing effort. The veteran point guard posted game-high marks in rebounds and assists while leading Sacramento in scoring, securing his fourth triple-double on the campaign. The 37-year-old has logged two triple-doubles and a double-double in his last five appearances, during which he has averaged 13.4 points, 10.8 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals across 30.6 minutes per contest.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Team-high nine dimes in loss
Westbrook recorded 12 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 121-95 loss to Houston.
Westbrook led the team in assists Wednesday, and he continues to be a solid asset in points leagues after landing in Sacramento late in training camp. The veteran point guard has averaged 13.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.2 minutes per contest across 22 games this season.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Triple-doubles with four steals
Westbrook had 16 points (6-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, 14 assists and four steals across 33 minutes during Friday's 128-119 loss to the Jazz.
This was Westbrook's third triple-double of the season. He also notched a new season high in steals. Westbrook has been in a nice rhythm over the past four, pumping out top-50 fantasy value behind averages of 15.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 2.0 triples, 1.8 steals and 3.3 turnovers per game.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Ties for team-high total in loss
Westbrook amassed 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt), eight rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 112-100 loss to the Suns.
Westbrook picked up the slack for several underperforming starters, but it wasn't enough to get past the Suns. Excluding Westbrook, Sacramento's first unit compiled only 46 points. While Domantas Sabonis' (knee) absence affects the team's bottom line, Wednesday's regression from the starters didn't help matters.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Leads fourth-quarter rally
Westbrook totaled 21 points (9-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 128-123 win over the Nuggets.
Westbrook scored 15 of his 21 points against his former team and was instrumental in the late rally, ending a horrific eight-game skid for the Kings. Although Dennis Schroder also scored 21 points from the bench, Westbrook has gradually taken over the starting job at point guard. He's played with the first unit in 11 of 17 games and has averaged 13.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 8.4 assists, and 1.2 steals over his last five starting appearances.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Struggles with shot in loss
Westbrook registered 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists over 21 minutes during Thursday's 137-96 loss to the Grizzlies.
The Kings suffered one of their biggest losses of the season, and Westbrook was one of the few players who ended up posting a decent fantasy line. The veteran floor general is not the triple-double threat he once was, but he can still put up decent numbers as long as he stays in a starting role. Westbrook is averaging 11.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game over his last five outings.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Tacks three steals in loss
Westbrook supplied seven points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 113-99 loss to Oklahoma City.
Westbrook logged just his first single-digit scoring performance while being in the starting lineup, which may primarily be attributed to being pulled early due to Oklahoma City building an insurmountable lead in the fourth quarter. In nine starts this season, Westbrook averages 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.6 threes on a remarkable 45.1 percent clip.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Triple-doubles, makes history
Westbrook provided 13 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds and 14 assists over 31 minutes during Friday's 124-110 loss to the Timberwolves.
Head coach Doug Christie started Westbrook in place of Dennis Schroder in this game, and while the Kings suffered another defeat, Westbrook delivered a vintage performance while posting his second triple-double of the campaign. As if that wasn't enough, Westbrook also became the ninth player in NBA history to record 10,000 career assists and only the second with 25,000 points as well, joining LeBron James (back) in that exclusive list. Westbrook should experience an uptick in his fantasy value as long as he remains in a starting role due to his ability to rack up stats with ease.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Starting Friday
Westbrook will replace Dennis Schroder in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup in Minnesota, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
It appears Westbrook has beaten out Schroder for the starting point guard position in Sacramento, so his arrow is pointing up. Across six starts this season, Westbrook has compiled averages of 18.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.8 triples, 1.2 steals and 3.8 turnovers per game.

Kings' Russell Westbrook: Flops in start
Westbrook produced 10 points (4-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 133-100 loss to the Hawks.
Westbrook was a non-factor in the loss, delivering one of his worst performances of the season despite moving back into the starting lineup due to Zach LaVine's (thigh) absence. The Kings are struggling right now, having lost eight of the last 10 games. Although Westbrook has been able to put up viable fantasy production, his role is far from guaranteed, making him a hard player to trust moving forward.
