  • Justin Anderson: Not re-signed

The Pacers didn't re-sign Anderson after his 10-day contract expired Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Indiana used Anderson's open roster spot to sign Nate Hinton to a two-way deal, while elevating Terry Taylor from his two-way deal to a standard NBA contract. During his second stint of the season with the Pacers -- he previously played under a 10-day deal in January before re-signing with Indiana on consecutive 10-day deals in March -- Anderson appeared in 10 games and averaged 8.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 23.8 minutes.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Not starting Friday

Anderson isn't starting Friday's game against Boston. Anderson served as a starter in each of his last six appearances and averaged 12.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 32.2 minutes per game during that time. Oshae Brissett and Terry Taylor are in the starting lineup Friday.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Continues firing away

Anderson recorded 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and three steals over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 125-118 loss to the Nuggets. Anderson has inherited a huge role with his 10-day contracts. Although he's shot just 40.0 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from beyond the arc in 10 games with Indiana, Anderson is an offensive energizer. The 28-year-old is likely to draw another start against the Celtics on Friday.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Lands another 10-day contract

Anderson signed a second 10-day contract with the Pacers on Monday. Anderson joined the Pacers on a 10-day deal in mid-March, and he's served as a starter in each of his last four appearances. During that time, he's averaged 12.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 33.5 minutes per game. It wouldn't be surprising to see Anderson maintain his starting role as long as Malcolm Brogdon (rest) and Chris Duarte (toe) remain out.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Just misses double-double

Anderson registered 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Thursday's 133-103 loss to the Grizzlies. Anderson made his third straight start and finished with a season-high nine rebounds, though he struggled as a shooter in the big loss. The veteran forward added four assists, two blocks and one steal in arguably his best all-around game of the season. Anderson has played over 30 minutes in each of his past three contests and could continue to see a big role while the Pacers deal with a slew of injuries, but his production thus far doesn't warrant fantasy consideration except in very deep leagues.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Big role in win

Anderson accumulated 18 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 129-98 win over the Trail Blazers. Playing on his second 10-day contract of the season, Anderson started and saw significantly more usage than any of his seven appearances prior. Anderson has logged gaudy stats for the Pacers' G League affiliate, but it's unclear how the organization views the 28-year-old. If Anderson sees 25-30 minutes per game, he can warrant nightly streaming appeal.

  • Pacers' Justin Anderson: Draws start Sunday

Anderson will start Sunday's contest against the Trail Blazers, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports. Anderson signed a 10-day contract with the Pacers on Wednesday and has made just one appearance for his new squad. However, with Malcolm Brogdon (rest) sidelined Sunday, he'll likely get extended run in his second appearance. Lance Stephenson, Duane Washington and Keifer Sykes are also candidates for increased roles off the bench.

He's unlikely to see major minutes this time around but will provide some depth on the wing.

However, he led the Mad Ants in assists and was productive on the boards en route to his first double-double of the season. The 28-year-old is now averaging 19.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 34.1 minutes per game during the regular season.

Anderson (COVID-19 protocols) was activated by the Mad Ants on Tuesday, per the G League transactions page. Anderson was placed in the NBA's health and safety protocols during his 10-day deal with the Pacers, essentially spelling an end to his time in basketball's top league. However, his activation would seem to suggest he's ready to contribute again for the Mad Ants.

Indiana still has an opening on the 15-man roster for another player, but that spot is expected to go to Lance Stephenson, who is likely to re-signed for the rest of the season after his 10-day deal expired Tuesday. Anderson, meanwhile, entered the protocols Friday and will likely report to the G League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants once he's asymptomatic of the virus.
