Drew is dealing with back spasms and won't return to Monday's summer league matchup against the Pelicans, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
Drew picked up the start at point guard and finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block across 15 minutes prior to going down with the injury. The exact severity is unclear at this point, but there's a chance Drew misses more time depending on how the back feels over the coming few days.

Pelicans' Larry Drew: Signs second 10-day contract
Drew will sign a second 10-day contract with the Pelicans.
Drew played just a minor role for the duration of his first 10-day deal with the Pelicans, averaging 3.0 points and 1.2 assists across 9.8 minutes. However, he did see his most extensive action of the season Saturday against the Rockets with Rajon Rondo (wrist) sitting out, notching nine points, three assists and one rebound across 19 minutes. With Rondo questionable going into Tuesday's contest, Drew could be in line for increased minutes once again off the bench now that he's been re-upped to another 10-day contract. That said, he's still not someone to target in fantasy leagues.

Pelicans' Larry Drew: Scores six points in Tuesday's win
Drew had six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two assists, and one rebound in 13 minutes during Tuesday's 115-105 win over the Mavericks.
Drew scored his first points for the Pelicans, this after going scoreless in his first two appearances. He had only seen 10 minutes combined versus the Rockets and Celtics on Saturday and Sunday, but with Jrue Holiday (illness) sidelined, Drew was called upon to play a bigger role. The team is back in action on Wednesday versus the Pacers and Thursday versus the Lakers, and Drew would stand to benefit if Holiday's illness lingers.

Pelicans' Larry Drew: Signing 10-day with Pelicans
Drew will sign a 10-day contract with the Pelicans, Shams Charania of Yahoo reports.
Drew has spent the bulk of the year with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, where he holds averages of 11.7 points, 7.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game. The 28-year-old is expected to finalize his contract Thursday, so at this point it's unclear whether he'll be available off the bench for the evening's matchup with the Spurs in San Antonio.

Drew will join 12 other G League stars as a member of the 2018 NBA G League USA roster for the upcoming International Challenge, per the G League.
The 27 year old former Sixer has played well for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, averaging 12.0 points, 5.1 boards, 8.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game over 29 contests. He and his fellow G League stars will face the Mexican National Team on Sunday, February 18th during NBA All-Star festivities.

Drew will sign a 10-day contract with the 76ers, Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice reports.
With Jerryd Bayless having missed the last two games with a sore left wrist, the 76ers will be bringing in some extra backcourt depth, which suggests that Bayless' absence could extended to another game or so. Drew last appeared in an NBA game back during the 2014-15 season with Philadelphia under a pair of 10-day contracts. Drew will likely see limited minutes with the team even if Bayless is out even longer, and T.J. McConnell will continue to operate as the primary backup point guard.

Drew signed a training camp deal with Miami back in early September, and upon his waiving, he is expected to land with the team's G-League affiliate in Sioux Falls. In 10 games with the Skyforce last season, Drew averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists across 24 minutes per game.

Drew signed a training camp deal with the Heat on Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
Drew's last NBA regular-season action came back in the 2014-15 season with the 76ers, where he played in 12 games and averaged a meager 3.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists across 18.3 minutes. He's since spent time overseas, playing with BC Neptunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League last year, while also making a stop in Sioux Falls with the Skyforce of the formerly known D-League. In 10 games with the Skyforce, Drew averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists across 23.7 minutes. All that being said, he'll have an uphill battle to make the Heat's final roster, which could mean more time overseas or with the Skyforce during the upcoming season.

Larry Drew: Signs contract with Lithuanian team
Drew has opted to remain overseas and will sign with Neptunas in Lithuania, David Pick of BasketballInsiders.com reports.
Drew's most recent stint in the NBA came with the Sixers during the 2014-15 season, but saw action in just 12 games, which likely pushed him to go overseas for the 2015-16 league year and play for the French club Monaco. Drew latched on with the Pelicans' summer league team earlier this month in an attempt to return to the NBA, where he averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists, while shooting a more than respectable 44 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep. However, Drew likely didn't have any decent offers on the table, so he'll head to Lithuania on a more favorable contract.

Drew signed a summer league deal with the Pelicans Friday, David Pick of Basketball Insiders reports.
Drew served as a star for the Pelicans in last year's summer league, managing a league-high 7.8 assists per game to go along with 9.0 points. That, however, was not enough to get him an invite to training camp and he decided to sign with AS Monaco in France shortly after. Drew will get one more opportunity to prove his worth as a floor leader in the NBA this summer.
