Sabonis has been diagnosed with a bruised left knee and won't travel with the team on the upcoming five-game road trip, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

This is positive news for Sabonis, as further imaging showed no structural damage to his knee, per Wojnarowski. He's set to undergo a re-evaluation on April 2 when the team returns from the road. In Sabonis' absence, look for Damian Jones and Alex Len to be more heavily leaned on at center.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Exits after taking hit to knee

Sabonis departed Sunday's game against the Suns in the fourth quarter with a left knee injury and will not return, Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Sabonis sustained a knee-to-knee collision with Mikal Bridges late in the fourth quarter, and while he initially attempted to play through the pain, he eventually fell to the floor and was taken back to the locker room for further evaluation. Prior to exiting, Sabonis posted 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 31 minutes of action. The Kings are off Monday and Tuesday, so for now consider Sabonis questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Pacers in Indianapolis.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Puts up 30-20-5 in losing effort

Sabonis racked up 30 points (12-20 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 20 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 126-97 loss to the Celtics.

With no De'Aaron Fox (hand), Sabonis took matters into his own hands as the clear No. 1 option for the Kings. While Sacramento hasn't exactly been winning more games since the big man arrived via trade, his production has been impressive. Over his last 14 games, Sabonis has posted 18.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Leads squad with 22 points

Sabonis finished with 22 points (6-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-13 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 135-126 loss to the Bucks.

Sabonis did much of his damage from the free-throw line, knocking down 10 shots in 13 attempts. He also tied for the team lead with seven assists, though he was uncharacteristically quiet on the boards, finishing with his lowest rebound total since Dec. 21.
