Suns' Dillon Brooks: Chips in 10 points Wednesday
Brooks recorded 10 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and four rebounds in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 124-83 loss to Portland.
Brooks hit double digits in scoring, but he failed to contribute in the box score outside of points and boards. With Jalen Green healthy and Miles Bridges in town, the veteran forward is likely to sacrifice some usage this year following a career-best 2025-26 season.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Puts up 18 points in preseason finale
Brooks tallied 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and an assist across 23 minutes in Friday's 119-116 preseason loss to the Jazz.
Brooks delivered a productive offensive performance, finishing tied with Jalen Green for the team lead in scoring, and he seems ready for the regular season after logging 23 minutes -- only Devin Booker (26) and Khaman Maluach (24) played more than him. Brooks' scoring and perimeter shooting were encouraging in this game, though his fantasy value will depend on his offensive consistency and defensive contributions. He averaged a career-best 20.2 points per game while shooting 34.4 percent from deep in the 2025-26 regular season.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Suiting up Friday
Brooks said he will play Friday against Memphis for the final preseason game, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
After resting Wednesday against the Spurs, Brooks said he's looking forward to this tune-up game against his former teammate, Jaren Jackson. There's no word on how many minutes the starting group will play Friday.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Not expected to play
Brooks is unlikely to suit up for Wednesday's preseason meeting with San Antonio after sitting out the full morning shootaround, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Brooks joins a lengthy list of Phoenix players expected to be unavailable, opening additional opportunities on the wing. With the Suns' preseason schedule wrapping up Friday against Utah, his next appearance could come in that contest.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Drops 15 points in win
Brooks totaled 15 points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Saturday's 102-98 preseason win over San Antonio.
Brooks turned in another decent performance, finishing as one of four Suns players to score double digits. Coming off the best season of his career, Brooks should once again find himself playing a key role for Phoenix. However, managers should remember that last season's production came during a time when others were injured. With Miles Bridges also now vying for touches, it is unlikely Brooks will be able to repeat his heroics from the 2025-26 campaign.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Scores 24 points with full line
Brooks registered 24 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 124-117 preseason loss to the Bulls.
Brooks had the hot hand early for Phoenix, and he only missed two shots in his 23 minutes of floor time. Brooks averaged a career-high 20.2 points per game last season, but it could be tough for him to replicate that scoring with Miles Bridges in town and both Devin Booker and Jalen Green healthy.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Keeping focus on basketball
Brooks, who was formally charged Tuesday with driving under the influence for an incident that took place on March 6, is focused on preparing for the upcoming 2026-27 season, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Brooks has been a fiery competitor to start camp, and his teammate Devin Booker stated Thursday that he isn't concerned about any potential distractions. "Nah, we already addressed it as a team back in February or March, when it happened," said Booker. "We kept everything in-house. He addressed the team also. We're moving on." Brooks is in line to open the upcoming 2026-27 season as part of the starting lineup after scoring 20.2 points per game in 56 regular-season appearances a year ago.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Sits out qualifiers
Brooks did not participate in Canada's latest FIBA World Cup qualifying window as he gears up for the 2026-27 NBA season.
Brooks is coming off the best offensive season of his career, averaging 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals across 56 regular-season starts for Phoenix. The 30-year-old also signed a three-year, $73 million extension with the Suns in August that keeps him under contract through 2029-30. Brooks should remain an important part of Phoenix's starting lineup alongside Devin Booker. However, Brooks' fantasy value depends more on scoring and three-point production than on contributions across the stat sheet.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Agrees to three-year extension
Brooks agreed to a three-year, $73 million extension with the Suns on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Despite appearing in only 56 regular-season games in 2025-26, Brooks had a fantastic campaign, averaging a career-high 20.2 points along with 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals across 30.4 minutes per contest. He's not the most efficient shooter. However, the 30-year-old is capable of producing on both ends of the floor while also providing leadership and toughness. Brooks should continue to be a vital piece of the Suns' long-term plans, so he could see more minutes than ever in 2026-27. He has an excellent opportunity to match or surpass his production from last season, especially if Devin Booker, Jalen Green and Mark Williams can't stay off the injury report.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: New role on tap for 2026-27?
Brooks could play a different role next season after Phoenix acquired Miles Bridges from Charlotte this offseason.
There could be a crunch for usage in Phoenix's starting lineup in 2026-27, which wasn't the case particularly often for Brooks in 2025-26. The Suns landed Jalen Green in last summer's Kevin Durant trade as compensation for the loss of the future Hall of Famer, but Brooks capitalized with a career campaign, which may have come largely due to Green's inability to stay on the court consistently due to nagging hamstring injuries. Over 56 regular-season appearances, Brooks averaged a career-high 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.4 minutes per game but could be at risk of seeing those numbers drop now that Bridges is in the mix.

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Finishes career year on high note
Brooks registered 23 points (10-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 42 minutes during Monday's 131-122 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
In his first season with Phoenix following an offseason trade from Houston, Brooks put together perhaps his finest NBA campaign. Over 56 regular-season outings, the veteran forward averaged a career-high 20.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.4 minutes per game. Brooks will be in the final year of his four-year contract during 2026-27.
