  • P.J. Dozier: Not retained

The Kings won't re-sign Dozier after his second 10-day contract with the club expired following Saturday's 117-110 loss to the Timberwolves, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports. Sacramento will replace Dozier's spot on the 15-man roster with Deonte Burton, who is set to sign a 10-day contract Monday. • Kings' P.J. Dozier: Gets another 10-day deal

Dozier and the Kings agreed Thursday on a second 10-day deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Dozier appeared in three of the Kings' five games over the course of his initial 10-day deal, averaging just 2.3 minutes per contest in those outings. Despite not seeing a large role off the bench during his week-and-a-half-long stint with the organization, Dozier likely made enough of an impression in practices to warrant another 10-day contract.

  • Kings' P.J. Dozier: Logs five minutes in debut

Dozier closed Monday's 136-111 win over Orlando with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over five minutes. Dozier logged five minutes Monday, fresh off signing a 10-day contract with the Kings. After a promising start to his career, a knee injury derailed things, resulting in him having to work his way back via the G League. While this was a garbage-time special, it is great to see Dozier back on an NBA court. Whether he can stick in the rotation remains to be seen, and obviously, there are no fantasy implications here.

  • Timberwolves' P.J. Dozier: Signing on with Timberwolves

Dozier is signing a contract with the Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Dozier was cleared for basketball activities in June and will be available for the start of training camp. • P.J. Dozier: Clean bill of health

Dozier (knee) has been cleared to resume all basketball activities and will be available for the start of preseason training camp, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Dozier, a free agent, spent the last three seasons with Denver but appeared in only 18 games last year before suffering a torn left ACL in November. The 6-foot-6 wing shot over 30 percent from three in each season with the Nuggets, but it's unclear what type of market he'll garner in free agency, though a clean bill of health will certainly help his cause.
