Taze Moore: Let go by Portland
The Trail Blazers waived Moore on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The move makes room on the Blazers' roster for Sidy Cissoko. Moore signed a two-way deal with the Trail Blazers in September but hasn't played an NBA game since Nov. 25. He could stick around in the organization with the G League's Rip City Remix if he clears waivers.

Moore hadn't played for the Trail Blazers or for the G League's Rip City Remix since Jan. 29, but he's apparently healthy again. Even if Portland keeps him active for Thursday's contest, Moore likely won't be a factor in the rotation.

Moore (back) is not listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
The two-way player sat out Friday for the G League's Rip City Remix in a 122-110 loss to the South Bay Lakers on account of a back injury, though he looks like he'll be available for the parent club for for Sunday's contest. Moore hasn't seen any action at the NBA level since Nov. 25, and he's not expected to factor into the Portland rotation Sunday.

Moore averaged 4.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 10.0 minutes across four regular-season appearances for Portland in 2023-24. He will split time between the Trail Blazers and their G League affiliate next season.

Moore signed a contract with Portland on the final day of the regular season and may see minutes during Sunday's game in Sacramento, as the Trail Blazers have only nine active players, including Moore. Moore spent most of the season playing for Portland's G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix. He made only four NBA appearances this season, totaling six points in 10 minutes.

During his week-and-a-half-long stint with Portland, Moore appeared in three games and tallied six points (3-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist and one steal over 10 total minutes. Assuming Moore isn't signed to another 10-day deal with the Trail Blazers or another team, he'll most likely rejoin Portland's G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix.
