Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Scores 25 points in loss
Gilgeous-Alexander produced 25 points (8-22 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT) and six assists over 36 minutes during Sunday's 108-105 loss to the Suns.
Gilgeous-Alexander struggled by his standards in Sunday's loss to the Suns, shooting just 36.4 percent from the field, his worst mark of the season. The reigning MVP also failed to record a rebound for the first time this season and, for the first time all year, has gone two straight games without a steal or a block. The 27-year-old superstar has still scored at least 25 points in five consecutive outings, averaging 30.2 points, 6.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals across 31.6 minutes per game over that span.

Gilgeous-Alexander chipped in 30 points (10-20 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), one rebound and seven assists over 28 minutes during Friday's 131-94 victory over the Warriors.
The Thunder rested their starters in the fourth quarter of the rout, otherwise Gilgeous-Alexander would have had an even bigger night. The 27-year-old superstar has scored at least 30 points in three straight contests, and he sits second in the NBA scoring race at 32.1 points per game, just behind Luka Doncic's 33.6 PPG.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Strikes for 30 in NYE win
Gilgeous-Alexander produced 30 points (11-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, six assists and four steals across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 124-95 win over Portland.

Gilgeous-Alexander continues to inch closer to what seemed like an unbreakable record not too long ago, and with 105 straight games of 20-plus points, he's on track to pass Wilt Chamberlain's record of 126 games in a home tilt against the Bucks on Feb. 12.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Blows up for 39 points
Gilgeous-Alexander registered 39 points (15-24 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, six assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 140-129 win over Atlanta.
Gilgeous-Alexander continues to be one of the most productive stars in the league as he logged his 104th consecutive game with 20-plus points in the convincing win. The game was a three-point festival, but the 2024-25 MVP made his mark with a deft mid-range shot and seven points from the foul line. The Thunder round out the week against three very beatable teams, so more standout performances from Gilgeous-Alexander should be coming.

Gilgeous-Alexander racked up 27 points (10-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals across 29 minutes during Sunday's 129-104 win over Philadelphia.
The Thunder led by only two points at halftime before pulling away late, and Gilgeous-Alexander was able to do all his damage before sitting out the entire fourth quarter. The reigning MVP sat out a game in early December due to a sore elbow, but he's looked none the worse for wear since, averaging 29.6 points, 6.4 assists, 4.9 boards, 1.8 threes, 1.6 steals and 0.9 blocks over the last eight contests.

The reigning MVP continues to creep closer to history, scoring at least 20 points for an incredible 104 straight games -- he needs 22 more to tie Wilt Chamberlain's all-time record. Thursday's 22 points actually represented his worst production in December, as Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.2 points, 6.2 assists, 5.0 boards, 2.3 threes, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks on the month.

Gilgeous-Alexander turned in an efficient performance Monday and hit another milestone by reaching the 20-point threshold for a 100th straight matchup, per Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com. However, Gilgeous-Alexander wasn't done, as he poured in 30 or more points for the 22nd time this season. The Kentucky product also put together a strong defensive showing, accounting for four of OKC's 14 swipes on the way to a comfortable victory.

Gilgeous-Alexander registered 32 points (13-24 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks over 29 minutes during the Thunder's 122-101 win over the Clippers on Thursday.
The reigning MVP was quiet by his standards in the first half, but he exploded for 19 points in the third quarter, which helped give the Thunder a large enough lead that his services were not needed in the fourth quarter. Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Efficient in blowout win
Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 28 points (11-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block over 27 minutes during the Thunder's 138-89 win over the Suns in Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinal match.
Gilgeous-Alexander was cleared to play Wednesday after missing one game due to left elbow bursitis. The injury didn't appear to impact the reigning MVP whatsoever, as he contributed to the Thunder's dominant win that saw all five OKC starters sit out of the fourth quarter. Gilgeous-Alexander's numbers this season are similar to what he produced during the 2024-25 regular season, though he's connecting on 56.2 percent of his field-goal attempts and 45.4 percent of his three-point tries, both career highs.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Cleared from injury report
Gilgeous-Alexander (elbow) is not listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
Gilgeous-Alexander didn't play in Sunday's win over the Jazz due to left elbow bursitis, but he's all set to return Wednesday. The MVP candidate should push Ajay Mitchell back to the bench. For the campaign, Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 32.8 points, 6.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 33.3 minutes per contest over 23 regular-season games.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Won't play Sunday
Gilgeous-Alexander won't play Sunday against the Jazz due to left elbow bursitis.
This injury comes out of nowhere for the reigning MVP. There's been no mention of this issue previously, and it's certainly possible that the Thunder are simply looking to give him a maintenance day. More clarity can be expected after the weekend, but for now, he can be considered questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Suns. With Gilgeous-Alexander out, the Thunder will likely lean more heavily on Cason Wallace and Ajay Mitchell, while Chris Youngblood could enter the rotation.

Through 23 games, Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting a career-best 44.3 percent from behind the arc while attempting nine free throws per game.
