Spurs' Carter Bryant: 'Trending well' for Game 2
Bryant (foot) is "trending well" ahead of Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals versus Minnesota, Raul Dominguez Jr. of the Associated Press reports.
Bryant appears to have a good chance of playing in Game 2, and head coach Mitch Johnson indicated Bryant should suit up for Game 3 if he's not available Wednesday. The 20-year-old averaged 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.6 blocks across 9.2 minutes in the Spurs' first-round series against Portland. However, he wasn't on the court for the series opener versus the Timberwolves on Monday night. If Bryant is available, he might see only limited action.

Bryant (foot) is available for Game 2 versus the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Iffy for Game 2
Bryant (foot) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Timberwolves.
Bryant missed Monday's Game 1 loss due to a right foot sprain he sustained in a recent practice, though head coach Mitch Johnson said he's optimistic it won't be a long-term issue. The rookie first-rounder averaged 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 9.2 minutes per game in five first-round outings. If he remains out, Keldon Johnson could continue seeing a slight bump in minutes.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Ruled out for Game 1
Bryant (foot) is out for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against Minnesota on Monday, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.
Head coach Mitch Johnson said Bryant sustained the injury in a recent practice, though Johnson added that he's optimistic it won't be a long-term issue, according to Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News. Bryant didn't make much of an impact in the previous round against Portland, averaging 3.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 9.2 minutes (five games). Keldon Johnson and Harrison Barnes could pick up a few extra minutes in Bryant's place Monday night.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Solid stat line off bench Sunday
Bryant closed Sunday's 128-118 loss to the Nuggets with 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and three blocks over 30 minutes.
The rookie took advantage of the expanded playing time and posted a solid line despite struggling massively with his three-point shooting. Don't expect Bryant to be much of a factor in the playoffs, though. He averaged 4.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game in 71 appearances during the regular season while logging 11.5 minutes per contest.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Strong line off bench
Bryant chipped in 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-6 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 112-101 win over the Trail Blazers.
Victor Wembanyama (ribs) and Stephon Castle (knee) were both sidelined, allowing the rookie to step into a larger role off the bench. The Spurs are hopeful to have both players back for Friday, however. Across 69 appearances this season, Bryant has averaged a mere 11.0 minutes per contest.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Chips in 10 points from bench
Bryant supplied 10 points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Monday's 119-115 win over the Clippers.
The one-and-done freshman from Arizona hasn't consistently contributed as a rookie, but he's appeared in 57 games with the parent club and shown flashes of elite defense. Monday marked his seventh game with a double-digit scoring total, but his role will likely decrease when Luke Kornet (knee) and Dylan Harper (calf) are cleared to return.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Provides decent boost off bench
Bryant provided 10 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and one assist across nine minutes during Thursday's 136-131 loss to the Nuggets.
Bryant scored in double figures for the second time this month and needed only nine minutes to do it. He continues to hang on at the back end of the rotation, and while he can occasionally provide a small boost in the scoring or rebounding category, he's not someone you can rely on at this time.

Spurs' Carter Bryant: Makes strong impression
Bryant finished Tuesday's 131-91 victory over the 76ers with 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), nine rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes.
Harrison Barnes (ankle) missed his first game of the season, allowing Bryant to see extended run off the bench. He hasn't made much of an impact in fantasy leagues this season with a low usage rate combined with sparse minutes, but he made the most of his opportunity Tuesday.
