76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Double-doubles in win
Edgecombe supplied 30 points (12-20 FG, 6-10 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Tuesday's 111-97 win over the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs.
Edgecombe exited to the locker room twice after taking a hard fall in the first quarter, but it didn't appear to impact his performance. The rookie became the youngest player in NBA history to record at least 30 points and 10 rebounds in a playoff game, leading Philadelphia in both categories. He also tied the game high in steals, marking his second consecutive contest with multiple swipes.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Strong showing in Houston
Edgecombe chipped in 21 points (7-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 40 minutes during Thursday's 113-102 loss to the Rockets.
The third overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft is putting the finishing touches on a productive first season. Edgecombe has scored in double digits in 10 of the last 11 games, averaging 20.6 points, 5.7 boards, 5.3 assists, 2.5 threes and 1.3 steals over that stretch, and his usage isn't likely to shrink while Joel Embiid (appendix) remains on the shelf.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Dishes 10 dimes in Wednesday's win
Edgecombe closed Wednesday's 153-131 win over Washington with 23 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and 10 assists over 33 minutes.
Edgecombe scored 14 of his 23 points in the second half to finish as the Sixers' third-leading scorer behind Paul George (39 points) and Tyrese Maxey (28 points). Edgecombe served more as a facilitator during Wednesday's victory and was one dime shy from tying a career high in assists en route to his seventh double-double of the season (and third in nine games since March 15). Since the All-Star break, the first-round rookie has averaged 19.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.2 steals over 33.2 minutes per game.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Keeps scorching nets from deep
Edgecombe produced 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes during Saturday's 118-114 win over the Hornets.
That's now five straight games in double figures in scoring for Edgecombe. During that span, the rookie first-rounder is averaging 26.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.6 three-pointers in 35.6 minutes per game while shooting a blistering 51.4 percent from beyond the arc.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Chips in 22 points in blowout win
Edgecombe finished Wednesday's 157-137 win over the Bulls with 22 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal over 30 minutes.
It was just the third time in 22 games since the All-Star break that Edgecombe attempted less than 10 field goals, but that was unsurprising given the returns of both Joel Embiid (oblique) and Paul George (suspension). Edgecombe was still productive despite the dip in shots, finishing as the Sixers' third-leading scorer to extend his streak of 20-plus-point games to four. He'll be the 76ers' third option behind Embiid and George, but Edgecombe's offensive ceiling will lower considerably once Tyrese Maxey (finger) is cleared to return.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Drops 35 points in defeat
Edgecombe closed with 35 points (14-28 FG, 7-15 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Monday's 123-103 loss to the Thunder.
Edgecombe was a one-man wrecking crew for the 76ers, as the team's next-leading scorer was Trendon Watford with 14 points in a blowout loss. The exciting rookie has now eclipsed the 30-point mark three times this season, with two of those performances coming in his past three games. In addition, his seven triples Monday marked a season high. With Tyrese Maxey (finger) sidelined, Edgecombe has become even more of an offensive focal point and should continue to see increased usage until Maxey returns, which isn't expected until the beginning of April at the earliest.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Grabs career-high 13 boards
Edgecombe chipped in 22 points (9-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Saturday's 126-116 victory over the Jazz.
Edgecombe was unable to repeat the 38-point performance he delivered in the win over the Kings on Thursday, but he still posted an impressive stat line while also grabbing a new career-high mark in rebounds. This was the fifth time Edgecombe grabbed double-digit boards on the season, and the top two have come over the last seven days. Edgecombe should continue to operate as one of the top scoring weapons for the 76ers as long as the team remains as depleted as it is right now.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Erupts for career-high 38 in win
Edgecombe posted 38 points (16-28 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, 11 assists and two steals over 39 minutes during Thursday's 139-118 victory over the Kings.
The No. 3 pick in the 2025 Draft came up big on the road for the Sixers, setting a new career scoring high while Joel Embiid (oblique), Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Kelly Oubre (elbow) were all in street clothes. Edgecombe has scored in double digits in five of the last six games since returning from a back bruise of his own, averaging 18.7 points, 6.0 boards, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 threes in 32.7 minutes over that stretch.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Posts double-double
Edgecombe finished Sunday's 109-103 win over the Trail Blazers with 18 points (8-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 35 minutes.
Edgecombe continues to produce as a clear-cut starter in the 76ers' backcourt despite being a rookie, and the former Baylor standout left his mark on both ends of the court Sunday. This was his first double-double since a 19-point, 10-rebound effort against the Lakers on Feb. 5, and he's surpassed the 15-point mark in eight of his 11 contests since the All-Star break. Over that stretch, Edgecombe is averaging a solid line of 17.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Logs 21 points in return
Edgecombe (back) finished Tuesday's 139-129 win over the Grizzlies with 21 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists and three steals over 35 minutes.
After a three-game absence due to a lumbar contusion, Edgecombe was cleared to suit up and didn't operate with a minutes restriction. Edgecombe's return was especially timely after Tyrese Maxey was diagnosed Tuesday with a tendon injury to his pinky finger, which will keep him out for at least the next three weeks. Edgecombe showed some rust from beyond the arc, but he still posted 20-plus points for the fifth time in eight appearaces since the All-Star break. Edgecombe will need to take on a larger role moving forward in the absences of Maxey, Paul George (suspension) and Joel Embiid (oblique).
