The 2014 Heisman ceremony is being held on Saturday in New York City, a ceremony that will end with Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota, Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon or Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper walking away with the trophy.

Someone who didn't walk away with the trophy is Drew Brees. The Saints quarterback is apparently feeling nostalgic though because he tweeted out a picture on Thursday of his time at the Heisman ceremony in 1999 (You can see the picture at the top of the page).

Brees finished fourth in the Heisman voting that year, one spot behind Michael Vick [not pictured].

Vick and Brees are the only two players among the top-five finalists who are still in the NFL.

Heisman winner Ron Dayne (far right in the picture) was the 11th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, but hasn't played since 2007. Dayne was the run away winner of the award in 1999, finishing with 2,042 votes, more than double the next person.

The Heisman runner-up that year, Georgia Tech's Joe Hamilton (next to Brees), only played one NFL season after being selected in the seventh round (234th overall) by the Buccaneers

The final person in the picture is former Marshall quarterback Chad Pennington, who finished fifth in the Heisman voting. Pennington, the 18th overall pick in 2000, hasn't played in the NFL since 2010.

One more finalist of note is former Alabama running back Shaun Alexander. Alexander finished seventh in the voting and would later go on to win an NFL MVP award with the Seahawks in 2005.
