Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin dodged a serious injury in his first preseason game back from a torn ACL Thursday night against the Steelers.

Maclin appeared to have hyperextended his right knee -- the same knee he tore last year -- while trying to make a cut in the second quarter. He was down on the ground clutching his knee before getting up and walking off the field under his own power. He caught the first pass thrown his way on the following drive for a gain of 9 yards.

Maclin and the rest of the first-team offense sat out the entire second half. He was targeted eight times and finished with six catches for 43 yards.
