Free-agent cornerback David Amerson was signed by the Raiders on Tuesday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
A second-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Amerson was recently released by the Redskins, after struggling badly through the first 33 games of his career. He's mostly drawn attention for his poor coverage, but the Raiders are so thin at cornerback that Amerson might eventually work his way into a significant role.
