WATCH: Marshawn Lynch rides in dune buggy with goat on new 'Diesel Brothers'
Show premieres in January and you will want to watch Marshawn Lynch on it
Given all the time Marshawn Lynch spent avoiding the limelight as running back with the Seahawks, it's remarkable how much he has soaked it up since he retired during last offseason (riding camels, dunking on small children, etc.). Lynch's latest foray into the public spotlight will be on the new episode of Discovery Channel's Diesel Brothers, which premieres Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. ET.
And like most of the things Marshawn does out in public these days, it looks pretty freaking hilarious. The guys at DieselSellerz return for their new season looking to continue to create custom trucks. And from the promo video below, it appears they're working on a custom dune buggy for Lynch, who appears in a Jan. 30 episode.
The tricked-out ride features "planetary tank axles," which of course Lynch thinks he can break with his body. Witness this exchange:
Diesel Brother 1: "Nine ton, planetary tank axles. Designed to withstand bombs, anything you can throw at it.
Marshawn: "Man, I could break that s***."
Diesel Brother 1: "I don't know."
Diesel Brother 2: "I think he could probably break it."
Marshawn: "Gimme a helmet and a shoulder pad ..."
That would also be a reality show worth filming. Just Marshawn going "Russell Crowe Fightin' Round the World" style and smashing into heavy machinery in his football uniform.
Or we could just watch him ride around with the tiny goat again and again. It's pretty obvious Lynch is a fan -- he basically says over and over, "I want one of these!" after taking the ride.
So do we, Marshawn. So do we.
