It all started last season, when then-rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger took a selfie celebrating his new haircut and posted it to Instagram. This all happened days before his first start for the Titans, who happened to be playing the Texans.

So when J.J. Watt sacked Mettenberger during the game, his celebration included taking a selfie. "It's just one of those little things, you razz on the rookie a little bit," Watt explained at the time.

Well, it's taken eight months but Mettenberger has responded.

"J.J. had to say it's a bit high school-ish that I take selfies and I think he still rags me on Instagram every time he posts a selfie," Mettenberger said in an interview with CampusSports.net (via the Houston Chronicle). "At the same time, if that's high school-ish, he got a letterman jacket made, a Texans letterman jacket. That's pretty high school-ish to me, don't you think?"

Here's what Mettenberger referring to:

Either way, here's Watt's response to Mettenberger's comments.

More than likely, Mettenberger won't face the Texans this season (and maybe that's best for everyone) because second overall pick Marcus Mariota is expected to be under center.
