  • Christian Sam: Reaches settlement

    The Cowboys waived Sam (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports. The 26-year-old agreed to a settlement with Dallas after he cleared waivers and reverted to the team's IR following Week 2 of preseason action. This transaction makes Sam eligible to sign elsewhere, given he can show other teams that his health isn't an issue.
