  • Packers' Elgton Jenkins: Ruled out again

    Jenkins (knee) will miss Thursday's game against the Lions, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Jenkins suffered an MCL sprain Week 2 that will keep him sidelined once again. The Packers will be short handed on the left side of the line as David Bakhtiari (knee) is also out, so Rasheed Walker and Royce Newman will start at left tackle and left guard respectively.

  • Packers' Elgton Jenkins: Will need MRI

    Jenkins may have suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Jenkins will ultimately need to undergo an MRI to confirm the diagnosis as well as determine the severity of the injury. The Michigan State product exited the game in the first half and was unable to return.

  • Packers' Elgton Jenkins: Exits with knee injury

    Jenkins hurt his knee during Sunday's Week 2 contest against Atlanta and is questionable to return. Jenkins was slow to get up following a play during the first half and subsequently headed to the sideline. Royce Newman entered in his absence and will presumably take over at left guard if Jenkins is unable to return.
