Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Good to go for Thursday
Turpin (shoulder) does not have an injury designation for Thursday's Christmas Day matchup against Washington, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Turpin has managed a shoulder injury this week and was listed as limited Monday and Tuesday. However, he was deemed a full participant for Wednesday's practice walkthrough and wasn't given a designation for Thursday's contest. As such, Turpin should serve in his usual role as the Cowboys' lead kick/punt returner versus the Commanders. He could also see more work as a wideout if Ryan Flournoy (knee, questionable) is unable to suit up.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Limited Tuesday
Turpin (shoulder) was limited in Tuesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Turpin produced 27 total yards on four touches on offense in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. His biggest impact comes on special teams, where he serves as the Cowboys' return man.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Four touches on offense Sunday
Turpin gained 13 yards on two carries and caught two of four targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers. He added 148 yards on six kickoff returns.
The fourth-year return specialist continues to see a small but steady role in the Dallas offense. Turpin has gotten between three and five touches in each of the last five games, putting together 182 yards from scrimmage over that stretch, but his only touchdown of the season came back in Week 2.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Dealing with shoulder injury
Turpin (shoulder) is listed as limited on Monday's estimated injury report, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Turpin racked up an impressive 148 yards across six kickoff returns during Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers, but he was otherwise limited to just four touches on offense, compiling 27 total yards. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to a full practice ahead of Thursday's divisional matchup against the Commanders.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Limited usage on offense
Turpin gained two rushing yards on his lone carry, caught both his targets for 10 yards and added 124 yards on four kickoff returns in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
The 29-year-old speedster continues to be a force on special teams while seeing limited opportunities on offense. Turpin has topped 100 return yards in five of the last six games, and on the season his 1,336 kickoff return yards are third in the NFL behind Tennessee's Chimere Dike (1,413) and Minnesota's Myles Price (1,405). Turpin does have at least three touches on offense in four straight games, however, putting together a modest 155 yards from scrimmage during that stretch.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Busy as returner in Week 14
Turpin gained four rushing yards on his lone carry, caught both his targets for 26 yards and accumulated 176 yards on seven kickoff returns in Thursday's loss to the Lions.
The 176 return yards were a season high for Turpin, who got plenty of opportunities as the Dallas defense gave up five touchdowns and 44 points to Detroit. Turpin's 1,212 kickoff return yards in 2025 are a career high, putting him third in the NFL behind the Titans' Chimere Dike (1,282) and the Vikings' Myles Price (1,227), but his role on offense remains limited -- through 11 games, he's turned 34 total touches into 353 scrimmage yards and a receiving TD.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Gets five touches Thanksgiving Day
Turpin caught two passes on as many targets for 28 yards and added three carries for 33 yards during the Cowboys' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Thursday. He also added 118 yards on five kickoff returns.
Turpin continued to serve in a gadget role in the Cowboys offense Thursday, and he surpassed 50 yards from scrimmage for a second straight game and for the fourth time this season. The fourth-year pro's speed makes him a big-play threat on every down and has earned him a small but consistent role. Turpin is up to 19 catches (on 28 targets) for 260 yards and a touchdown along with 12 carries for 63 yards across 10 regular-season games, and his 1,036 yards on kickoffs (on 40 returns) is third most in the NFL behind Chimere Dike (1,206) and Myles Price (1,058).

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Cleared to play
Turpin (shoulder/illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Chiefs, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The Cowboys listed Turpin as a full participant after Wednesday's walk-through. He should be fine for his usual part-time role on offense while handling kick and punt returns.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Upgrades to limited Tuesday
Turpin (shoulder) was limited in Tuesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
It's an upgrade for Turpin, who logged a DNP at Monday's walkthrough. Turpin caught a 48-yard pass and rushed two times for four yards in last Sunday's comeback win over the Eagles, seeing 46 percent of the offensive snaps.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Three touches on offense Sunday
Turpin gained four rushing yards on two carries, caught one of two targets for 48 yards and added 86 yards on three kickoff returns and one punt return in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Eagles.
The fourth-year speedster committed his first fumble of the season early in the second quarter as part of a disastrous first half that saw the Cowboys fall behind 21-0, but Turpin atoned right before halftime with his 48-yard catch and run to set up Dallas' first TD of the game as they began a remarkable comeback. It was Turpin's longest play from scrimmage this season, and through nine games he's produced 262 yards of offense and a receiving TD on 26 touches while racking up 973 total return yards -- fourth in the NFL behind the Titans' Chimere Dike (1,491), the Vikings' Myles Price (1,336) and the Bengals' Charlie Jones (1,034).

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: DNP on Monday's practice estimate
Turpin was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report due to a shoulder injury and an illness, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Turpin earned his highest snap share (46 percent) since Week 4 during Sunday's win versus the Eagles, and he produced one catch (on two targets) for 48 yards and two carries for four yards. The reception marked his longest of the campaign, but he now is tending two a pair of health concerns ahead of Thursday's contest against the Chiefs. Wednesday's injury report will unveil whether or not Turpin has a designation for Week 13 action.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: No yardage on offense in Week 11
Turpin recorded one catch for zero yards on two targets and returned one punt for 14 yards and four kickoffs for 111 yards in Monday's 33-16 win over the Raiders.
For the first time in eight appearances on the season, Turpin failed to account for any yards from scrimmage. Though the two-time Pro Bowl returner will continue to make his greatest impact for Dallas on special teams, he looks like he'll still be a part-time contributor on offense as a gadget player. He was on the field for 23 of the Cowboys' 67 offensive snaps Monday, placing him fourth among wideouts behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Ryan Flournoy.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Gains 13 total yards on offense
Turpin caught two of three targets for 10 yards and rushed once for three yards in Monday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals. He added 151 kickoff return yards and six punt return yards.
Turpin continued to have a minimal impact on offense Monday, doing most of his damage on kickoff returns. The fourth-year wideout is not involved enough in the Cowboys' offensive plans to garner much fantasy attention, but with Monday's performance on special teams, the TCU product is now fourth in the NFL with 722 kickoff return yards. Turpin will remain extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes as the Cowboys head into their Week 10 bye before a matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Does little on five targets
Turpin caught one of five targets for minus-2 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. He added 86 yards on three kickoff returns.
The five targets were third on the Cowboys behind CeeDee Lamb (10) and George Pickens (nine), but Turpin couldn't get on the same page with either of the quarterbacks he got them from, as Joe Milton replaced Dak Prescott late in the 44-24 blowout loss. Turpin's main value to Dallas still comes as a return man, and despite missing two games with a foot injury, the 29-year-old is still fifth in the NFL with 571 kickoff return yards.

Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Back in usual role
Turpin caught his only target for 17 yards and added 80 kickoff return yards and four punt return yards in Sunday's 44-22 win over the Commanders.
After missing the prior two games with a foot issue, Turpin returned to the lineup and resumed his usual role as the Cowboys' top kick returner and depth wideout. He had seen multiple touches on offense in each of his first four games of the season, although not more than six in any contest, so his lack of usage may have had something to do with him being eased back into action. Turpin could see more targets and jet sweep carries Week 8 if Dallas has any trouble generating yards against a stingy Denver defense, but he's no real threat to the volume of CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens.
