Josh Drayden: Cut loose from IR
Drayden (undisclosed) was waived with an injury settlement from the Commanders' injured reserve Thursday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Drayden was anticipated to miss the 2022 campaign after he was placed on Washington's IR at the end of August. The 24-year-old cornerback will now be free -- presuming he recovers from his unspecified injury -- to make his NFL debut elsewhere this regular season.
