Drew Plitt: Waived by Bengals

Plitt was waived by the Bengals on Tuesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. Plitt was signed by the Bengals in late July when Joe Burrow (appendix) was forced to be away from the team, but Plitt will now look for another opportunity. Wherever the rookie ends up, he'll likely open the season on the practice squad.
