Broncos' Stanley Williams: Heads to Denver
Williams was claimed off waivers Monday by the Broncos, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports.
Williams was let go by the Bengals a day earlier, but it didn't take long for him to find a new home. The undrafted rookie faces some stiff competition in Denver with veterans Jamaal Charles and Stevan Ridley still battling for roster spots behind the projected top two options on the depth chart, C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker (wrist).

Stanley Williams: Waived by Bengals
Williams was waived by the Bengals on Sunday.
Though some thought the Bengals found themselves a gem when they signed Williams (who was given a fifth-round grade by ESPN's Mel Kiper) as an undrafted free agent, the rookie always faced long odds of making a roster that already included Jeremy Hill, Giovani Bernard, Joe Mixon and special-teams ace Cedric Peerman. He's now free to sign elsewhere.

Bengals' Stanley Williams: Signs with Cincinnati as UDFA
Williams signed a contract Wednesday with the Bengals, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.
Williams, who went undrafted out of Kentucky, joins a crowded Cincinnati backfield in his move to the pro ranks. Standing at just 5-foot-7, Williams is a small, elusive back that managed to run for 1,170 yards for the Wildcats lat season. He'll be behind at least Jeremy Hill, Giovani Bernard and second-round pick Joe Mixon on the depth chart, but Williams could carve out a role as a special teamer and depth back in 2017.
