Josh Augusta: Waived by Chiefs
Augusta was waived by the Chiefs on Thursday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
An undrafted rookie in 2017, Josh Augusta never saw the field after spending training camp with the Patriots and being cut prior to the start of the regular season. He signed a futures deal with Kansas City earlier this year but the team decided to move on after the influx of this years drafted and undrafted rookies. If Augusta clears waivers he'll be an unrestricted free agent and free to sign with any team.

Chiefs' Josh Augusta: Signs future deal with KC
Augusta signed a reserve/future deal with Kansas City on Wednesday, per the NFL Media Site's official transaction log.
Augusta spent the preseason with the Patriots but was waived off injured reserve with an injury settlement by the team in early September. The 23-year-old will have another opportunity with the Chiefs as he enters the team's offseason program.

Josh Augusta: Waived off IR
Augusta (undisclosed) was waived off injured reserve Friday after he and the Patriots reached an injury settlement, Doug Kyed of NESN reports.
The undrafted free agent was considered a long shot to make it onto the 53-man roster. He will now be able to find a new opportunity elsewhere when he returns to health, but he could also revert back to the Patriots after four weeks.
