Josh Thornton: Works out for Cleveland
Thornton (undisclosed) is working out for the Browns on Monday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Thornton was waived by the Texans this offseason after being placed on injured reserve, and appears to have full recovers from his undisclosed injury. Even if the second-year pro doesn't secure a depth role in Cleveland's secondary, it's encouraging that Thornton is receiving some attention around the league.

Thorton (undisclosed) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve, per the league's official transaction log.
The nature of Thornton's injury remains unspecified. The defensive back is nonetheless stuck on IR through the end of the league year, barring an injury settlement.

Josh Thornton: Placed on waivers Tuesday
The Texans waived Thornton (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Thornton was a late-season addition to Houston's practice squad last year. If he clears waivers, he'll be added to the team's injured reserve.
