Leonard Johnson: Gets tryout with Miami
Johnson (undisclosed) had a workout with the Dolphins on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson joined the Giants this offseason, but he was ultimately waived with an injury designation. After a short stint on IR, he received an injury settlement. Now healthy, he's working to earn another NFL opportunity.

Leonard Johnson: Waived by New York
The Giants waived Johnson (undisclosed) from injured reserve with a settlement Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Johnson was originally placed on injured reserve last week after clearing waivers but will now head back to the open market. The 2022 undrafted free agent has never appeared in an NFL game and will look to get healthy and catch on with another team.

Giants' Leonard Johnson: Reverts to IR
Johnson (undisclosed) reverted to the Giants' injured reserve Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson was waived with an injury designation July 19 but went unclaimed on waivers. He underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft, though it's unclear if that is still the issue that is plaguing him.

Leonard Johnson: Waived/injured by G-Men
The Giants waived/injured Johnson (undisclosed) on Wednesday.
Johnson suffered a torn ACL while training ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft and has yet to appear in an NFL game. He signed with the Giants back in March but apparently isn't fully healthy, whether due to a setback with his surgically-repaired knee or something else. Assuming Johnson clears waivers, he'll then revert to the Giants' injured reserve list for the rest of the season, barring him reaching an injury settlement.
