Fryfogle was waived by the Chiefs on Tuesday.
Fryfogle failed to crack the Chiefs' wide receiver corps after inking a reserve/future contract with the team in January. Should he go unclaimed on waivers, the 2022 undrafted free agent will likely look to latch on with a practice squad prior to the 2023 campaign.

Chiefs' Ty Fryfogle: Inks futures deal
The Chiefs signed Fryfogle to a reserve/future contract Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Fryfogle, an undrafted rookie wideout, was waived/injured by the Cowboys in late August due to a hamstring injury and has remained a free agent since. It appears the Indiana product has moved past the issue, and he'll now have a chance to compete for a roster spot in Kansas City throughout the 2023 offseason.

Ty Fryfogle: Working out with Packers
Fryfogle (hamstring) will work out with the Packers on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Fryfogle began training camp with the Cowboys but was waived/injured in late August due to a hamstring issue. However, his workout with the Packers signals that he's moved past his injury and is in the mix to provide depth at wide receiver after Randall Cobb sustained an ankle injury Sunday against the Jets.

Fryfogle (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Cowboys on Monday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Fryfogle was one of four players cut with an injury designation by Dallas on Monday as the team works to cut down its 90-man offseason roster. The undrafted wideout will revert to the Cowboys' injured reserve list, should no other team opt to claim him off waivers.

Fryfogle joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Indiana in May. With 12 wide receivers still on the roster and cutdowns needed, Fryfogle became expendable. The 23-year-old will now work to earn an opportunity elsewhere.
