  • Browns' James Hudson: Suffers ankle injury

    Hudson has been ruled out from returning to Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings due to an ankle injury, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Hudson was hurt on a passing play late in the second quarter and was subsequently ruled out from a return shortly after halftime. The fourth-year pro started the exhibition game at right tackle with projected regular-season starting tackles Jedrick Wills (knee) and Jack Conklin (knee) both on the active/PUP list. When all three players are healthy, Hudson is expected to work in a backup role.
