Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Logs zero offensive snaps Sunday
Singleton didn't get a carry or a target in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the Giants.
Though head coach Robert Saleh suggested near the end of the week that Singleton could get more carries in Week 3, the rookie running back didn't end up seeing any action at all on offense. He did record 10 snaps on special teams, but that probably wasn't what fantasy managers had in mind if they picked him up based on Saleh's statement. It appears that Singleton isn't immediately going to have a significant role in the backfield in games during which Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears are both healthy.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Could see more involvement Week 3
Head coach Robert Saleh indicated Friday that the Titans will give Singleton more carries in the team's Week 3 road tilt against the Giants on Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
The rookie fifth-rounder has taken a back seat to both Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, with Singleton being a healthy scratch Week 1 before logging four carries for 10 yards during the Titans' Week 2 loss against the Eagles. Spears is questionable for Sunday's game due to an ankle injury, and his absence would open the door for Singleton to operate as the Titans' RB2 behind Pollard. That said, even if Spears is cleared to play, it sounds like the Titans' coaching staff wants Singleton more involved in the offense.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Four carries in regular-season debut
Singleton rushed four times for 10 yards during Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Eagles.
Singleton made his regular-season debut with Tennessee after being a healthy scratch Week 1 versus the Jets. The running back played six of the team's 53 offensive snaps, far fewer than starter Tony Pollard (29) and top reserve option Tyjae Spears (19). All four of Singleton's carries came on the same possession in the third quarter, and he also logged six snaps with the special-teams unit during the contest. Singleton will remain an unappealing fantasy option as long as Pollard and Spears are active.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Inactive for Week 1
Singleton (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
The rookie fifth-rounder will be a healthy scratch Week 1 while the Titans role with three active running backs in Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears and Julius Chestnut. Singleton's next opportunity to make his NFL regular-season debut is Week 2 against the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 20, though he's unlikely to suit up for that contest unless one of Pollard, Spears or Chestnut is sidelined.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Tallies 44 scrimmage yards Saturday
Singleton rushed seven times for 26 yards and brought in both targets for 18 yards in the Titans' 24-15 preseason loss to the Bears on Saturday.
The rookie fifth-round pick led the team in rush attempts on the night and finished second behind D'Ernest Johnson and quarterback Hendon Hooker in rushing yards. Singleton was the first Tennessee back to log a touch, gaining six yards on a reception on the second play from scrimmage and subsequently netting 18 yards on three consecutive rush attempts to kick off the Titans' second drive. Singleton finished the preseason having rushed 15 times for 57 yards alongside Saturday's 2-18-0 receiving line across two games, and he'll now wait to see if those numbers were enough to garner him the No. 3 running back role.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Team-high carry total Thursday
Singleton rushed eight times for 31 yards in the Titans' 19-13 preseason win over the 49ers on Thursday.
The rookie fifth-round pick is looking to lock down the No. 3 running back role this summer, and Singleton got a long look in the second half of Thursday's preseason opener. Singleton had a pair of 1,000-yard seasons at Penn State and is a capable receiver, so there's seemingly plenty of upside there, particularly for a third-day pick. Singleton figures to continue seeing plenty of action when the Titans face the Seahawks at home on Sunday, Aug. 23 in their second preseason game.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Participating in team drills
Singleton (foot) has been participating in team drills at OTAs, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
SIngleton suffered a Jones fracture in his foot at the Senior Bowl back in January but was deemed fully healthy ahead of the NFL Draft in April. While medically cleared, it sounds like the Titans are bringing the rookie running back along slowly and not completely unleashing him during spring practices, aiming to have him 100 percent ready for the start of training camp in July. Singleton is expected to compete for snaps and touches behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears under new OC Brian Daboll.

Titans' Nicholas Singleton: Bound for Tennessee
The Titans selected Singleton in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 165th overall.
Singleton, out of Penn State, boasts the size (6-foot, 219 pounds) and explosiveness of many of the backs going in the early rounds of the draft. However, some of the hype died down in 2025 after he managed only 4.5 yards per carry en route to 549 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 123 totes. He's an excellent receiver out of the backfield as well, amassing 102 catches for 987 yards and nine touchdowns over his four-year college career. However, Singleton struggles to find openings at the line and doesn't sport the necessary patience for things to develop. He also struggles a bit in pass blocking. Singleton has the raw talent to potentially develop into a contributor on offense, but he may be limited mostly to special teams as a rookie. Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears headline the Titans' running back room, but Singleton could usurp Michael Carter for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart with a good showing in camp.
