Kapp was waived by the Jets on Tuesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Kapp was working to make the team after joining them in May as an undrafted free agent out of Kutztown, upon impressing during an invite to the rookie minicamp. It's unclear if he is considered a practice squad contender.
