Massington agreed to an injury settlement with the Saints on Sunday, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Massington landed on injured reserve last week due to an undisclosed injury. The wideout is now immediately free to sign elsewhere outside of New Orleans.

Saints' Eldridge Massington: Clears waivers and heads to injured reserve
Massington (undisclosed) cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Joel Erickson of The New Orleans Advocate reports.
Massington was not picked up after being waived and will revert to injured reserve. Given the team's depth at receiver, he was always a long shot to make the Saints' final roster.

Eldridge Massington: Released by Saints
The Saints waived/injured Massington on Wednesday, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Massington was signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent after a disappointing senior year at UCLA. The 23-year-old was not able to carve out a special teams role in New Orleans, so Massington will hope to earn attention elsewhere.
