Arizona cut Richardson on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Richardson spent time on the Cardinals' roster last season, but after sticking with the team through the offseason he was still unable to secure a regular-season role. The former Boise State standout, who went undrafted back in 2019, is still looking for a chance to make his NFL debut.

Cardinals' A.J. Richardson: Sticking with Cardinals
Richardson (undisclosed) signed a reserve/future contract with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Richardson landed on Arizona's practice squad after failing to making the roster out of training camp, and he eventually landed on the injured list in December. The 25-year-old will go through the Cardinals' offseason program for the second straight year.

Richardson wasn't able to make the team this offseason, so he's set to begin another season on the practice squad. The Cardinals boast a deep receiver room, so chances for Richardson to see action as an emergency option could be minimal in 2020.

Richardson signed a reserve/future contract with the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Richardson -- an undrafted free agent out of Boise State -- was unable to make the team out of training camp, so he spent the year with the Cardinals' practice squad. The 24-year-old wideout was productive during his final collegiate season, recording 54 receptions for 825 yards and eight touchdowns. He'll have another chance to impress this offseason to try making the 53-man roster.
