Bengals' Freedom Akinmoladun: Back with Bengals

Akinmoladun was promoted to the Bengals' active roster Thursday. The 24-year-old was elevated by the Bengals at the tail end of last season, earning just six snaps in two games over that span. Akinmoladun will add depth at defensive tackle with Geno Atkins (shoulder) and Mike Daniels (groin) sidelined for Thursday's game against the Browns.

Akinmoladun was promoted to the Bengals' active roster Saturday. Akinmoladun signed with the Giants during the offseason but ultimately was unable to make the team. He has since found his way to the Bengals' practice squad and will now get a chance to make an impression on the 53-man roster.
