  • Seahawks' Buddha Jones: Back on IR

    Jones (undisclosed) reverted to Seattle's injured reserve list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. After being waived by the Seahawks with an injury designation just two days ago, Jones will stick around in the organization. The nature and severity of Jones' injury are still unknown, but the undrafted rookie out of Troy will need to reach an injury settlement with Seattle in order to have a chance to suit up this season.

  • Buddha Jones: Waived by Seattle

    Jones (undisclosed) was waived as injured by the Seahawks on Monday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. In a corresponding move, Seattle signed quarterback PJ Walker. Jones, a defensive tackle, signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in May. He played his college ball at Troy and recorded 29 tackles in 14 games in 2023.
