The Jaguars signed Jackson to the practice squad Wednesday. Jackson was unable to beat out rookie seventh-rounder LeQuint Allen for the RB4 spot on the Jags' 53-man roster, but the former will stay in Jacksonville on the team's practice squad. Jackson finished the preseason with 13 carries for 56 yards while adding two catches (on as many targets) for 13 yards.

The Jaguars waived Jackson on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Undrafted out of Arkansas earlier this year, Jackson signed with the Jaguars and rushed 13 times for 56 yards across 41 offensive snaps this preseason. He also caught two passes for 13 yards.
