The Patriots waived Barnett (undisclosed) on Monday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Barnett managed to link up with the Patriots after going undrafted in 2020, but he ended up missing his entire rookie season due to an undisclosed injury. Now presumably back to full health, he'll be free to search for a chance to compete elsewhere.

Barnett (undisclosed) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve Friday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Barnett was a longshot to make an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent, and now he'll remain on IR unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Patriots.

Barnett (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Patriots on Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Barnett could rejoin the Patriots on their reserve/injured list as long as he passes through waivers without being claimed. He signed with the club last week as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia. His injury is currently undisclosed.
