The Raiders re-signed Wright to their practice squad Thursday.
Wright was released from Oakland's practice squad last week, but he has quickly rejoined the team's practice squad. The 26-year-old will once again compete to earn a special teams or depth role with the Raiders.
Wright was waived by the Raiders on Saturday, the Associated Press reports.
Wright was unable to secure a spot on the 53-man roster in Oakland after originally being claimed off waivers in mid-August.
The Dolphins promoted Wright from their practice squad Wednesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Wright replaces fellow defensive tackle Vincent Taylor (knee), who was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. It's expected that Wright, who has appeared in 12 NFL games with the Lions and Browns since turning pro in 2015, will work in a depth role for the Dolphins in their season finale against Buffalo.
