It's not a penalty you see called all that often in the NHL, but Minnesota Wild defenseman Nate Prosser received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for head butting Chicago Blackhawks forward Jamal Mayers during the first period of Thursday's game in Minnesosta.

The incident took place with just under two minutes to play in the opening period, and appeared to result in Mayers suffering a cut.

Earlier in the period Mayers had scored his sixth goal of the season to give the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead. The Wild will go on to win the game, however, by a 2-1 margin.
