Devils' Ben Thomson: Goes on waivers
Thomson was waived by the Devils on Tuesday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.
A power forward listed at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, Thomson is likely to clear waivers and make his way back to AHL Albany, where he produced 10 points and 90 PIM over 72 regular-season contests last season.

Devils' Ben Thomson: Signs one-year, two-way contract
Thomson agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way deal with the Devils on Wednesday.
Thomson spent the last three seasons in the AHL until finally seeing NHL action in the Devils' final three regular-season games last year. The 24-year-old only managed 10 points for the Albany Devils last season, but he racked up 90 PIM. Thomson will have a difficult time standing out among the Devils' young prospects in his quest to make the final 23-man roster.

Devils' Ben Thomson: Reassigned to AHL
Thomson was demoted to AHL Albany on Monday.
Thomson was recalled for the last few games of the Devils' season but didn't do much over three contests. He will now head back to AHL Albany, where he's collected nine points over 69 games this season, to finish out the AHL club's campaign.

Devils' Ben Thomson: Called up, will play Tuesday
Thomson was recalled from AHL Albany and will be in the lineup for Tuesday night's matchup with the Flyers, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.
Thomson makes his NHL debut Tuesday after almost three full seasons with the AHL's Devils; the NHL's Devils are cruising toward the end of the season without a playoff berth. The 24-year-old winger had just nine points during his campaign in the minors, but he did rack up 86 penalty minutes, establishing him as more of a physical enforcer.
