Top Golden Knights News

  • Golden Knights' Mitch Marner: Manages pair of assists in win

Marner logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Marner extended his point streak to five games (one goal, six assists) with this performance. The 29-year-old playmaker continues to be productive from a second-line role. He's at two goals, seven helpers, 22 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over nine appearances this season. Marner's more than capable of being a point-per-game player, so he should be a steady source of offense in his second year in Vegas.

  • Golden Knights' Ivan Barbashev: Records trio of assists

Barbashev notched three assists, including one on the power play, and added four shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Barbashev is still searching for his first goal of the season, but he's had no trouble helping out linemates Jack Eichel and Mark Stone stay productive. Through nine contests, Barbashev has seven assists, 14 shots on net, 17 hits, four PIM and a plus-6 rating. The 30-year-old winger's physicality is a plus, and he's also often an efficient scorer, having shot at least 15.6 percent in each of his three full seasons with Vegas. Be patient -- he'll start to bury his chances eventually.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Tallies again Thursday

Howden scored a goal and added four PIM in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Howden has scored in consecutive games, and he's earned five points over his last five outings. The 28-year-old forward is seeing time on the second line lately, which has bolstered his output on offense. He's at three goals, three assists, 16 shots, 10 hits, eight PIM and a plus-5 rating through nine appearances on the year.

  • Golden Knights' Braeden Bowman: Buries power-play goal

Bowman scored a power-play goal on five shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Bowman snapped a five-game skid with his tally Thursday. The 23-year-old winger will be prone to some inconsistent offense as long as he continues to see bottom-six minutes at even strength. He's also involved on the power play, which should help him get a bit of momentum on offense. Bowman has two goals, one assist, 11 shots on net and a minus-3 rating across nine appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Rattles off three points in win

Eichel scored a shorthanded goal on four shots, dished two assists (one on the power play) and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Eichel was involved in all parts of this game as the Golden Knights took care of business in an easy matchup. This was his fifth multi-point effort over nine games so far. The star center has five goals, 11 assists, 28 shots on net and a plus-6 rating. He's earned six power-play helpers and a pair of shorthanded points, showcasing his all-situations skill set.

  • Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Natural hat trick in Thursday's win

Stone scored three goals, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

Stone rattled off a natural hat trick in the third period to put the game out of reach. The 34-year-old has been dynamic to start the season while filling a top-line role. Stone has six goals, five assists, five power-play points, 19 shots on net, 11 hits, nine PIM, seven blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over nine appearances. Stone probably won't sustain that much all-around production, but he's capable of landing around a point-per-game pace.

  • Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Cruises to win

Hart stopped 28 of 30 shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Flames.

It was a lopsided matchup on paper, and it went as expected on the ice. Hart had a better game going, but he gave up a late power-play goal to Matthew Coronato. He has allowed two or fewer goals in each of his wins this year. Hart is now 4-2-0 with a 2.35 GAA and a .911 save percentage across six contests this season as the Golden Knights' primarily goalie. Vegas hosts the Penguins on Saturday.

  • Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Slated to face Calgary

Hart is expected to start at home against Calgary on Wednesday, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Hart has a 3-2-0 record, 2.41 GAA and .906 save percentage in five outings with Vegas in 2026-27. He stopped 24 of 27 shots en route to a 4-2 loss in his last start Monday. Calgary has struggled out of the gate, posting a 1-5-0 record while averaging just 2.00 goals per game.

  • Golden Knights' Ville Heinola: Called up from minors

Heinola was recalled from AHL Henderson on Thursday.

Heinola racked up three assists during a quick stop down in the minors, but he will link back up with the Knights ahead of Thursday's clash with the Flames. Even with his promotion, Heinola will likely serve as a healthy scratch rather than replacing Dylan Coghlan in the lineup.

  • Golden Knights' Ville Heinola: Trio of helpers in AHL win

Heinola logged three assists in AHL Henderson's 4-0 win over Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Heinola has four points over four AHL games this season. He received a call-up Sunday but didn't get into a game with the Golden Knights. Still, it looks like he'll be an option to join the big club when they're in need of an extra defenseman. That could happen at any point while Parker Wotherspoon (upper body) is out on a week-to-week basis, especially if another blueliner gets injured as well.

  • Golden Knights' Alexander Holtz: Racks up three points

Holtz scored a goal on five shots and added two assists in AHL Henderson's 4-0 win over Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Holtz has once again started the year well, earning six points and 15 shots over four games. The 24-year-old winger cleared waivers prior to this season, giving him the chance to spend the bulk of 2026-27 with Henderson. He was a healthy scratch with Vegas for most of 2025-26, earning nine points over 28 regular-season outings.

  • Golden Knights' Matyas Sapovaliv: Tallies twice in Henderson's win

Sapovaliv scored two goals in AHL Henderson's 4-0 win over Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Sapovaliv has three points over his first four games this season. He's added 11 shots on net and a minus-2 rating. Sapovaliv has yet to make his NHL debut, and he'll need to display consistent offense over a longer stretch to be in contention for a call-up.

  • Golden Knights' Carl Lindbom: Earns AHL shutout

Lindbom posted a 26-save shutout in AHL Henderson's 4-0 win over Coachella Valley on Wednesday.

Lindbom has allowed just four goals on 74 shots over his first three games of the season. The 23-year-old netminder is 2-1-0 to begin Henderson's campaign. He probably won't see much NHL action unless Carter Hart or Adin Hill is unavailable for any reason.

  • Golden Knights' Dylan Coghlan: Pockets helper Tuesday

Coghlan registered an assist, three shots on net and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

This was Coghlan's second appearance of the season. He is expected to continue filling in while Parker Wotherspoon (upper body) is out on a week-to-week basis. Coghlan has added three shots on net, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-4 rating over his two games so far. While he may see steady playing time, he probably won't be a factor in fantasy.

... See More ... See Less
  • Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Adds two helpers in win

Andersson logged two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Andersson's offense is starting to come alive with three points over his last two games. Through eight outings overall, he has four points, 16 shots on net, eight blocked shots, eight PIM and a minus-4 rating. The 29-year-old blueliner can be a steady source of blocks and PIM even when he isn't at his best on offense, and he's a solid option in fantasy for category coverage.

... See More ... See Less
  • Golden Knights' Trevor Connelly: Lights lamp in win

Connelly scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators

Connelly continues to offer decent middle-six offense for the Golden Knights. He's up to three goals, two assists, 17 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over eight appearances. Connelly is definitely in the conversation in fantasy as a depth forward, though managers will need to be prepared to ride the highs and lows with a 20-year-old rookie.

... See More ... See Less
  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Pair of points in win

Howden scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two PIM and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Howden helped out on Tomas Hertl's first-period tally before scoring one of his own in the third. The 28-year-old Howden has been a reliable middle-six forward to start the year, earning five points, 15 shots, nine hits and a plus-4 rating across eight contests. He was held to 22 points in 58 regular-season contests last year, but he should rebound a bit in 2026-27 if he can sustain this steady start.

... See More ... See Less
  • Golden Knights' Ville Heinola: Sent to AHL

Heinola was assigned to AHL Henderson on Wednesday.

Heinola was called up by the Golden Knights over the weekend, but he didn't appear in any games during his time with the NHL club. Across three regular-season appearances in the AHL this year, he's recorded a goal and four PIM, and he should have more consistent opportunities for playing time in the minors.
