Two of the top teams in the Western Conference meet at 9:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 12, in a massive clash when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC is off to a fantastic start on the heels of the team's title run, going 11-1 in the early stages of the season and in the midst of a three-game winning streak. The Lakers enter Wednesday 8-3 after beating the Charlotte Hornets in their last game. With LeBron James still sidelined, the two biggest stars of this matchup are still two of the biggest names in the sport -- reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic.

Luka Doncic Under 40.5 points + rebounds (-113)

Doncic is fully back after missing three games late last month, and he's played three in a row since having the night off last week against Portland. Doncic is averaging 46.5 points + rebounds per game so far this year, and he's gone Under 40.5 in just two of seven games played. The model is taking the Under here with a projection of 37.6. OKC has the No. 1 scoring defense in the NBA and is sixth in rebounds per game.

Thunder -6.5 (-118)

The Thunder are on the second day of a back-to-back, and they just blew out the Warriors by 24 points on Tuesday, covering what was a 7.5-point spread. The model expects more of the same on Wednesday, with OKC covering the 6.5-point spread in 67% of simulations with a projected win by 15 points.
