    After his stint with Memphis, Sneed returned to the G League's Greensboro Swarm and picked up right where he left off, producing 23 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 36 minutes during Friday's 119-114 win over the Long Island Nets. The 24-year-old had the opportunity to make his NBA debut during his brief time with Memphis, making two appearances and playing seven minutes in total.

  • Grizzlies' Xavier Sneed: Signing hardship deal with Grizz

    Sneed signed a 10-day hardship contract with the Grizzlies on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

    With Ziaire Williams, Jarrett Culver, Yves Pons, Dillon Brooks and De'Anthony Melton all in the COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Sneed will get the call up to provide some much-needed depth over the next several games. The Kansas State product has never appeared in an NBA game, but he's looked good in the G League this season, putting up 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.6 threes while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 39 percent from distance for the Greensboro Swarm.
