Oklahoma was short-handed, didn't catch the right breaks and eventually the dam broke as Clemson ran away with a 37-17 victory in the Orange Bowl. The Sooners were favored in the game and had the second-best odds to win the College Football Playoff, so the slow unraveling of OU's title hopes created all kinds of anxieties for the fans who made the trip to Sun Life Stadium.

With the trend of sad and mad crowd shots rising, ESPN's cameras did plenty of work finding some Oklahoma fans in the midst of their feels. When you combine some of those shots with others, collected via social media, you can put together the full Oklahoma fan experience.

First, the ecstasy of pregame excitement, the taste of a cigar and the feeling of having Oklahoma logos drawn on your bare chest.

Clemson caught Oklahoma off guard with a fake punt, throwing the ball to defensive tackle Christian Wilkins for a 31-yard gain, and it resulted in the Tigers' only touchdown of the first half. Sooners fans started to turn from happy to angry.

Both Perine and Joe Mixon suffered injuries that knocked them from the game. Mad turns to sad.

But don't worry, our bearded friend made it into the stadium.
