Offensive Player of the Week: Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine

Perine set a new FBS single-game record with 427 rushing yards. (USATSI)

It was the perfect set of circumstances for the Oklahoma rushing attack; a combination of bad weather and an injury-depleted passing game. Cody Thomas started for Trevor Knight, still recovering from a back/spine injury against Baylor, and completed just 3-of-13 passes in the rain. Since the passing game wasn't working, OU decided to run the ball until Kansas stopped them. The Sooners offensive line dominated at the line of scrimmage and opened gaping holes in the field for Perine, who had touchdown runs of 49, 33, 34, 66 and 27 yards on the way to a record breaking 427-yard (12.6 yards per carry) day. Sorry Melvin Gordon, your 408 yards is so last week.

Defensive Player of the Week: Missouri DL Markus Golden

Missouri's defensive line has been fantastic all season, but it's getting senior Markus Golden back to full health at the right time as the Tigers try and maintain a grip on the SEC East. Golden had two sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, six total tackles, a fumble recovery and two quarterback hurries in Missouri's 29-21 win at Tennessee. With a win against Arkansas, Missouri can clinch its second-straight SEC title game appearance.

Specialist of the Week: Kansas State wide receiver/return specialist Tyler Lockett

The national Big 12 debate centers around TCU and Baylor, but Kansas State has not fallen out of the conference title race thanks to a gritty road win at West Virginia on Thursday night. Tyler Lockett, putting together a strong case as one of the most dominant all-purpose players in recent memory, totaled 321 all-purpose yards with a punt return for a touchdown in the win, also leading the team in receiving with 10 receptions for 196 yards.

Freshman of the Week: Ohio State wide receiver Jalin Marshall

After a pair of frustrating turnovers against Minnesota, Marshall, one of the Ohio State's most talented skill position players, helped change the game with a punt return touchdown after a shaky start against Indiana. Marshall finished the game with five catches for 95 yards and three touchdowns, adding the 54-yard punt return score in the Buckeyes' 42-27 win. Then on Sunday, the all-purpose star of the weekend showcased another skill during the football team's annual visit to band practice to kick off rivalry week
